  • Monday 12:30pm - 1:15pm

  • Flow & Be Still (all times are CST)

This is your lunch time snack. The most active of all my classes. In this class we start with a short-guided breathing, grounding meditation and move into some active standing and moving the whole body with the idea of building up a little bit of heat you might sweat and find your heart rate rising in this class as we work and stretching out the whole body then settle back down into your shavasana leaving you refreshed to enjoy the rest of your day. This class can be done seated in a chair or standing on your mat. We end class with a second short meditation and cool down so you can return to work with that yoga glow.  I recommend a yoga mat, yoga blocks or a wall or chair to help with balance and the moving from standing to seated poses.

  • Wednesday Night 8:30pm to 9:30pm (ish)

    Restorative + Yoga Nidra

This is the gentlest of my classes. In this class the intention is to help settle you into a good night’s rest.  I offer you the opportunity to do this practice in your bed or on your yoga mat. If you are doing this class on a yoga mat use all the props make yourself a cozy yoga nest. I recommend brushing your teeth, getting into your PJ, removing contacts and staying off of social media after class. Restorative yoga is soft passive stretched that are designed to help relieve tension in the body. Yoga Nidra is a meditative yoga practice that helps to bring a deeper more refreshing sleep to the body. Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga are my favorite types of yoga to teach, they are my passion and the reason I love yoga. I recommend for this class a safe comfortable space, lots of pillows, blankets items that help you feel safe and secure as you drift off to sleep.

  • Thursday Morning Yin 8:00am to 9:00am

Yin Yoga is all about moving into stillness. I like to describe it as a stretching, gently moving meditation for the body. Most of the poses are seated or lying on the earth in supported stretches discovering our edge or depth of stretch into a pose. We hold the yoga poses for extended periods of time anywhere from 3 to 7 minutes touching on the ideas of Chinese medicine and working the meridian (energy) lines of the body. Yin yoga has its roots in Taoist philosophy. For this class I recommend all the yoga props you can find. Chair, mat, yoga blocks, bolster, pillows and blankets.

*I also offer private classes in Yoga, Meditation and Yoga Nidra for private or groups. These can be on line or in person classes tailored to you or your groups needs.
